Adelaide : The Indian Cricket Team had made a great start to the Tour of Australia and They were 55 for 1 after dismissing Cricket Australia on 219.

CA XI captain, Ashton Turner, won the toss and elected to bat first. Bhuvneshwar Kumar strike an early blow by scalping Matthew Short caught behind for a duck.

After a brief partnership for the third wicket, Aaron struck twice in the 21st over. He got Turner to nick one to Wriddhiman Saha behind the wicket. The next ball, a close lbw appeal was turned down but Aaron got his man, Nick Stevens, off the following delivery. Stevens was bowled through the gate.

The Indians had taken nine CA XI wickets for 167 runs but it took them some doing to break the frustrating last wicket stand between Harry Nielsen and Harry Conway. The tenacious duo tried to hit out and refused to get out. They added 52 runs before Karn got Conway stumped to end the CA XI innings at 219 in 71.1 overs.

Saha finished with five catches and a stumping to his name.
